Part of the Dae Jeon Drama Festival (http://djdf.org/wordpress/), award recipients are chosen irrespective of station nor ratings, featuring works from Oct 1 2011 till Oct 31 2012. This generous timeframe enables the nominations of actors and actresses from Tree with Deep Roots to Nice Guy, where some, like Han Ji Min, appeared in multiple dramas. Han Ji Min is nominated from her efforts in both Rooftop Prince (MBC) and Padam Padam (JTBC). Answer Me 1997 (tvN) won much as leads Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji received the Best OST, Best Couple and Rising Stars awards. Interestingly, recognition was also given via the Baddie Award (Yoon Yong Hyun), Best Manager Award (Kim Jong Do) and Action Set Award (Gaksital).
Have a peaceful last day of 2011, health and happiness in 2012! ^^
Here’s a primer to the awards tonight… I place my faith in SBS’ powers that be~

Finally, the year-end awards are here. I really didn’t want to post about it… but I just couldn’t resist~[vimeo http://vimeo.com/34394551 w=590&h=332]
Dr Yoon of “High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged” says,
“Firstly, I think I deserve this (Comedy/Sitcom Excellence) award because I did well… IT’S A JOKE! *wiggles*”
Yoon Kye Sang continues,
“Yeah I was joking. That was a popular phrase I used much in High Kick. Yes that was seriously a joke. I could receive this award because of our outstanding director, outstanding actors and actresses, staff, the viewers believed in me… I will continue to work hard, and produce good works in the future. I will give my best in my acting. Thank you!”
Wouldn’t it be great if they could be in the same awards ceremony, MBC?
A desperate parody face-off between the 3 nominees at the 8th Korea Film Awards in 2010…
I’ve to admit I have no guts to start the recap of the second (more important) segment of the awards. Maybe I will do it in a series of posts, one ~ by ~ one~ ^^;
First, introducing various trends that made an impact within public memory after their successful portrayal in SBS dramas:
Hi all, Happy New Year~ ^^ I’ve just got home, and am going to rewatch the 2010 SBS Drama Awards again!
Shall capture some of my favorite moments here, what a feast for the eyes! Yeah I agree that there were many ‘how-could-it-be-this-way’ moments too, but people, this SBS Awards is more about ‘drama’ than ‘award’. Will you be happier if there was a double-daesang to please everybody? Is that the best? (Why, tune in to the KBS or MBC Awards if you’re not happy.. ;P)
If I could only have one last thing to say before I start my captures, it is :

And they also won the Netizens Popularity Award~
And no surprises as Se-Ga wins Most Popular Drama..
Top Excellence Awards (Drama Special category)! Together with Kwon Sangwoo ^^ I’m almost certain Go Hyunjung is getting the daesang.. aah my mobile batt is running out.. why is the ceremony so long? -_-;;
Thanks SBS… really a happy new year indeed..^^
